We get asked all the time, “when is the best time to open/close my pool”?   Well here is the answer to this very popular question.  Close LATE, open EARLY!

When you close after its chilly temps no algae will grow and the chlorine thatbiabout in will last longer

When you open whilenits still chilly the chlorine will probably still be active and no algae will have had a chance to grow yet. 

Also,  keep in mind,  as long as you run the filter system BELOW 38 degrees,  your filter /pipes will NOT freeze.
